Access Check-In - A form utitlized to learn more about your dancer before they come to class. The more that we know, the more our well-educated team will be able to use the classroom teaching tools that we have refined to create a successful, happy, fun and compassionate classroom experience for all dancers!

Accountability - The fact or condition of being accountable and taking responsibility.

Anti-Bullying - Refers to laws, policies, organizations, and movements aimed at stopping or preventing bullying.

Appropriateness - The quality of being suitable or proper in the circumstances.

Consent Practices - The actual application of consent - which is receiving permission for something or an agreement to do something from another person.

Developmental Milestones - Skills such as taking a first step, smiling for the first time and waving are called developmental milestones. Children reach milestones in how they play, learn, speak, act, and move.

Economic Support - Any form of financial support to serve people who are unemployed, disabled, have low earning, or experience other economic or material hardship.

Gender Expression - The way in which a person expresses their gender identity, typically through their appearance and behaviour.

Gender Identity - An individual’s personal sense of having a particular gender.

Grooming - The act of someone building a relationship, trust and emotional connection with a child or young person so that they can manipulate, exploit and/or abuse said child or young person.

Neurodiversity - The range of differences in individual brain function and behavioural traits.

Othering - categorizing a group of people according to perceived differences, such as ethnicity, race, religion, gender or sexual orientation.
